"Johnboat" contemporary figurative painting

To float on a johnboat at twilight is about as peaceful and beautiful as it gets.  The frogs start singing and bellowing, and you watch the stars come out one by one as the daylight fades away.  Many times there will be a thunderhead or two shaking with blue lightning, but so far away it doesn't make a sound.  I miss living in Mississippi.
